Clinton Pienaar

Clinton Pienaar is an avid motorcyclist and a well known personality within the South African motorcycle industry. He is currently the editor of SuperBike Magazine South Africa ( and the owner of SA Biking Academy ( which is mainly a track day and motorcycle events company with an added arm of local and overseas trips for local riders to places like the Isle of Man, England, Scotland and Ireland. This new initiative is a natural progression for him to showcase the beauty of South Africa to overseas visitors. Clinton will personally host all the trips and will be able to give foreign visitors various tips on routes and places to stay that he has discovered through his many years of travelling around his beloved country. Although Clint has raced for most of his life which has been his claim to fame, he is also a colourful character with many interesting stories to tell of his various adventures, which include crossing over the Himalayas on a Royal Enfield Motorcycle in India, a Cairo to Cape Town Africa trip, many hard core African trips on KTMs - not following major roads but rather opting for the paths less travelled, a 24 Hour Race at Spa Francorhamps in the WSBK Endurance Championships and competing at the Isle of Man in 2010 to name but a few.

Cindy Pienaar

Cindy has been married to Clinton for almost 10 years now and, as a couple, they run the tours, magazine and track schools. Cindy is the backbone of SA Biking Academy, constantly making sure that everything runs smoothly and would be the person to contact for any out of the ordinary queries. Although not an avid biker herself, she likes riding pillion and will be present on many of the tour days.

Taryn Pereira

Taryn, Clint’s PA, is the newest member of SA Biking Academy and she is absolutely bike crazy. She rides her own bike and she will be your main contact with regards to booking tours and answering your questions. She will also be present on a few of the days of each tour.
